Tom was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. In our 20 years of friendship, he was fiercely loyal, incredibly inspirational, and above all, the kindest person I have ever met. I am grateful to have been his "best man" at his wedding (even though I'm a girl) and will always cherish his laughter, tenacity, and beautiful spirit. The world without him is not the same.
